So I meant to post this on their bday,but never did,I've seen other people do it and have seen it on Pinterest to:))) So I figure from now on I'm doing it also,cause it'll be so cute to look back on and compare their answers:)) I asked the twins seperately some questions to their favorite things,it was really fun to hear their answers:))))

The twins also had their 4yr old checkups and I may need to face the facts that they may always be tiny and not get their dads height!:( But like Dr. Moore said about Luke.....not everyone can be a Center:)) haha! But I'm still hoping he can be a quarterback!!!;) He'd rather be QB anyways!!right!?:) Luke weighed 33lbs. and was only about 35% in height. and my little Mia was a whopping 28lbs. and 9th percentile for height!I'm pretty sure I was 28lbs. when I was 1!!!!lol!She's so cute I wouldnt have her any other way!!!:))))Other than that,they are doing great and they were preemies so according to their growth charts their doing fabulous!!!:))))

What is your favorite movie??? He says anything Santa(and everyone knows his santa obsession)I'd say Toy Story,but I'm not answering for him right?;)

Who is your Best Friend??? He looked at me and then paused for awhile as to not hurt my feelings before saying "Grandma". (which is fine w me,I know I can't compete w her!!she's the best!)

Favorite thing to do w mom?? Go to Target(the kids LIVES for Target)But who can blame him,we go in weekly!;)

I'm FINALLY getting around to doing a Christmas post,and the pics will probabably be in no real order after the post!:) December goes by SO fast for us it feels like! With the twins b-days and the holidays,it seems to fly by!!! We headed up to Island Park for Christmas weekend to spend it w my parents and Kevin,Ashley and the kids. We love being up there in all the snow for Christmas! The twins were SUCH a blast this year, they were SOOO into everything Christmas! Luke was dressed as Santa for weeks before Christmas and is STILL dressing up daily,begging Mia to be Mrs. Clause and begging me,Trav,my mom,or any willing participant to be Rudolph! haha! It's hilarious and I'm just wondering how long it's going to go on!! He says he wants to be Santa for Halloween......and I'm actually thinking he's serious and won't change his mind!At least he's original I guess right????;)) We do the Elf on the Shelf every year to and it was PURE JOY every morning for a month when they'd get up and try and find where "Christopher" the elf was, they were bummed on Christmas morning (after all the gifts)of course to realize that Christopher had to "go back" to the North Pole again w Santa and we'd see him again around Thanksgiving next time:)))It was so cute to watch them each leave a special plate of food out for Santa and one for the reindeers,and shocked the next morning when all the food was gone:)We did alot of eating and snowmobiling and sledding! It was a great time! So thankful for my fabulous parents for always going all out for us.....and having to clean up the HUGE MESS after we all leave!!ha!The twins also had a blast at their school Christmas party,Miss Becky does the cutest stuff w them and they LOVE it there! They made the cutest little handprint canvases on ribbon to give to me and Trav for Christmas! Hope everyone had a Happy Holidays!!!:)))

I canNOT believe my babies turned 4 this month! Time is flying!! They are the sweetest,funniest,cutest best friends I could ask for!! Me and Trav are so lucky and blessed to have them!!:))) of course they were spoiled rotten by family and friends most of December and then it's Christmas ,so they literally think they get presents for a month!ha! They were so cute and appreciative of everything they got! Things didn't change much as far as cakes went from last year,Luke is STILL in love w Toy Story anything and Mia still princesses,although I did manage for her to pick a special princess, so she picked Ariel:) They are getting so big and are so sweet to each other,they really hate being apart! Their doing great at preschool and Mia is loving dance! I'm loving seeing them come out of their shells lately and become more outgoing and less shy!:) Thanks to everyone who helped celebrate w us,and I'm hoping the next 4 years don't go as fast!:(

The cutest little Suzy Snowflake I've ever seen:)))) My little princess had her very first dance recital a few weeks ago,and I was seriously the proudest,happiest mama in the whole world! Of course when I knew I was having a girl I secretly prayed she'd LOVE dance as much as I did,and lukcily so far she does,ha!;) She joined Infinity this year and is having a wonderful time and her teacher Miss Sam is amazing w the 3yr old little girls! Anyone that knows Mia knows she is definitley on the shy side,(I have no idea where she gets that from w me as her mother);) I was so nervous when she got on to that HUGE stage and an audience FULL of people she might freeze! But there she was front and center and did the whole dance as cute as can be!!!:)))I think it's always helped that she has her good friends Hailey Jane and Sophie in her class to:) We were all so proud!! She can't wait for her spring recital now!!:))))

I'm running behind but really wanted to post some Halloween pics! The twins were Woody and Jessie and they had a blast this year!!! Luke is still in costume almost everyday,his love of Woody and all things Toy Story is going on 2 years now,I guess that's a good thing w all the Toy Story stuff we buy! We'll be in trouble when he falls in love w something else!ha!;) Seems like Halloweeen goes on for days! I can't say I was sad to see it go! We did Boo at the Zoo,they had a preschool Halloween party which they loved,and we did the Rimrock Spooktacular this year finally for the first time! ;))We went to some friends houses for delicious food and chili to!Oh and Mia was a cat for her Halloween dance class party,(I didn't want her to ruin her Jessie costume rolling all over the dance floor)My OCD was just to much to allow that!lol! Of course we did the pumpkin patch to!The twins definitely take after their dad because they don't eat any candy really!! Maybe a few random things,so needless to say I tossed it or gave it away,cause I'm the only one in the house who will pick at it....and I don't need to be!!!;)ha! Hope everyone had a safe and Happy Halloween!!!:))))The twins are already talking about what to be next year!;)

Me and Trav managed to do our yearly Maui trip this year, Trav's been so busy this year I was worried I wasn't gonna get my vacay in!!!!;)ha! But we did AND we had a BLAST! We did decide to stay in Kaanapali this year instead of Wailea or Kihei,and we're so glad we did! We stayed at the new Honua Kai resort and LOVED it! (thanks for the tip Debi);)it was SO wonderful!If anyone is debating where to stay and have done Maui before,let me tell you,to me I liked it better than even the Kea Lani,or the Grand Wailea! Trav was in heaven w the organic market they had,we got to have green smoothies and fresh turkey wraps and eggs and wonderful,amazing food anytime! We also love Dukes in the hotel on the beach and the fact that they fed us poolside almost everyday!!lol! Gotta love fish tacos in Maui right!!!!;) The condo was amazing, the people SO wonderful, and the pools were AWESOME, (trav loved the waterslide SO much)ha!We really just relaxed,snorkeled,paddle boarded,ate,ran on the beach boardwalk in the mornings,and spent a day in Wailea at some of our fav beaches and food spots:) and visited my Aunt and Uncle for dinner at the Five Palms,sunset on the beach!!! :) Had such a nice getaway w my hubby!! We missed the twinners,but it was SO nice to hang w just each other to:) And when we talked to the twins everyday on the phone,they just wanted to tell us what they were doing w Grandma and ask what treats we were bringing them home!ha! We can't wait to take the twins w us.......someday,but for now,we're thoroughly enjoying the alone time each year:)))))And I must say I have the BEST mom EVER to watch them for us each other,she's amazing!!!Thanks mom!!!!xo. Till next year Maui.......:))))p.s we really didn't take a ton of pics,I feel like w out the kiddos w us,there's not much to take pics of!ha! ;)

Disneyland!!!!;)))

First i'm gonna start by warning everyone...there are ALOT of pics!!!!!;)ha! But how can you not take tons of pics of your kids first time to Disneyland right?!!!;) We had a blast!(even though in most pics my kids sure dont look to happy)I think they were just SO over my picture taking!! And a little overwhelmed at times! After all Luke did meet Woody,Buzz and Jessie ALL in one day!!lol! I thought he was gonna pass out! He loved the Toy story and Buzz rides of course to! And Princess Mia of course LOVED the castle and loved Aerial's under the sea ride in California Adventure,that was her favorite:)))She also had her first taste of pink cotton candy!ha! They also wanted to go through Sleeping Beauty's castle about a million times!Of course Grandma spoiled them rotten(thanks to Grandpa to)...and I'm guilty of it to,but I must say all the stuff is just TO cute to pass up!!!:))) We had a great time, and loved getting to share it w my mom:) What great memories!!! It was a nice week in California and of course nice to be back home,the kids could barely stay awake on the plane ride home,and were excited to show dad all their presents,and of course they were SO excited to tell all their friends in the neighborhood and at school that week:))))Enjoy the pics!!!:))))

The twins started preschool a week ago,and I really can't remember where the last almost 4 years have gone!!!! Their going 2 days a week for an hour and a half, the first day was a little rough for the twinners and all the moms stayed that day to go over everything and get familiar. So I was SO nervous for the second day when I actually had to leave them there w out me!:( They've been so excited to go and talk about it all the time. Miss Becky their teacher is GREAT w them,and so patient!:) They cried when I left them and Miss Becky took them in w her. we texted a bit so I would know when they settled down,she said Mia seemed like she really wanted to play w the toys and other kids but wouldn't leave Luke who was still apparently crying in the corner:( The double edged sword of having twins,it's SO nice to know they always have someone and they are so thoughtful of each other,but also tough cause when one is upset the other is going to be to:) She said they loved making their craft that day and were singing on her steps when I came to get them,so hopefully this week it will go a little more smoothly(fingers crossed) the other 4 kids in the class are great and there's no crying for them.....just from the twins:) go figure!ha!:) Well and from me as I drove away from them.so I guess I'm just as bad:(But I'm so proud of them and for anybody that knows them they've come a LONG way from how shy they've been since they were really little:)))))

12 friends+180 miles= Grand Teton Relay!!:))

A couple weeks ago I did the Grand Teton Relay.....it was one of the hardest things I've ever done! And it wasn't even the 16 miles that my 3 legs added up to,it was lack of sleep,shower,the heat and running in the middle of the pitch black night w nothing but a head lamp!! (did I mention it was in the mountains,and people say it's grizzly country)needless to say that 5mile run I did about midnight I don't even remember cause I was running as fast as I could go..or at least as fast as I could see!!!ha!;) I made some great new lifelong friends though and it was such a great experience! The run w the Tetons in the morning as the sun came up really was SO pretty!Trav and the twinners met me up in Driggs to see us finish! They were so proud of me,it was super cute!My dad came to the starting line to see our team off in Ashton,thanks dad!!! It was great to see him there cheering us on! If you would have asked me if I was ever going to do it again the day after I finished I probably would have said HECK no......but now I think maybe I'll be back next year at it again!;))))

I'm finally sitting down to catch up on some posts,so we're gonna combine some of them into 1:))) This month we went up to Montana to see my new nephew Kade be blessed and we also went camping in Montana for Dax's 3rd bday.(let me rephrase the "camping" term,my parents and Kevin's family camped,the Argyle's however went up for the day and drove home to sleep in our own comfy beds by night:)))) LOVE that Trav is NOT a camper either!ha!;) We had a great time and the cousins LOVE getting together,wish we all lived closer! Can't believe it's Sept. our summer went SO fast!:( Im excited for Fall but NOT for winter!;)

I had to do a little post about the twinners passing swim lessons! I was so anxious and scared for lessons,cause usually the twins are SO shy.....I guess when it comes to swimming they arent!ha! They LOVED lessons and did SUCH a great job! They loved going every morning and were always so excited! They even did the diving board on the last day and wanted to do it again!And they loved getting their little report card from their teacher on the last day! It was so fun to watch them everyday to! They've graduated from pikes to eels for next year!!!And they can't wait!!!!:)))))

Summer Fun and 4th of July!!!

Thought I'd post some pics of what we've been up to so far this summer,we're for sure taking advantage of the nice weather we're finally having! We went w some friends and saw the circus which the twins really thought was fun, The twinners also got to spend a day w Grandma and their cousins Atlee and Dax at the new Rexburg waterpark, anytime their all together their having a blast!We've done Rigby Lake w friends to and the twins LOVE it there, they LOVE to play in the sand,they had a blast w their good friend Ethan! Their getting so brave when it comes to the water and swimming to which is making me realize they are growing up super fast!:( We've done the zoo a few times so far to:)The other day we did Bear World w my mom and had tons of fun, although I think the twins like riding the carnival rides there better than really seeing the animals?;) 4th of July we went to the parade which the twins LOVED and headed to the Elmore's for a barbque and some fireworks and let the kids swim and play! I'd love to say the twins stayed awake to see some big fireworks,but they fell asleep about 8! ha! Oh well maybe next year! Hope everyone's having a great summer to!!! Enjoy ALL the pics!!:)))

I'm an Auntie again and the twinners have another cousin to play with!yay! My brother and Ashley had a little boy on May 27th,Kade Douglas Button weighed in at 7lbs. 12oz.! His older brother and sister are totally in love w him already! We went up to Montana for a couple days to meet the new addition and let the cousins play and give Ash some rest:) We got a hotel that happened to have one of those most massive bath tubs I've ever seen in a normal room,so the kids decided to swim in it instead of the pool!haha! We had a great time and wish we could all get together more often!

I also competed in the Dirty Dash mud run last weekend up above Park City,at Soldier Hollow,which is a beautiful mountain used for cross country skiing in the winter, the Dash was a blast and is fairly new to SLC, It's a 5k,up through the mountainside,w the whole thing covered in mud,w obstacles like hay bales,wood walls,COLD water spraying machines,slides and a final DEEP pit full of mud water,that you MUST swim through to get to the end(no cheating by going around it,dang!) It was huge,5,000 people and sold out! We competed in a team,and your team must all finish together,One of my best friends from high school Becca and her family made up our team,it was good to get to see her!w kids and husbands nowadays,those fun girl trips are few and far between;) We promised to compete every year together! Of course when the Dash was finished,I went to my hotel,showered and got ready for a day of SHOPPING,I must say it was heavenly to have no kids or hubby to rush me along!!!!;) But thanks Trav for watching the twinners for me so I could go have some fun!:))

We've had a busy April w Birthdays and Easter,and I've fallin behind on blogging a bit. Trying to catch up w this post and combine all the things that have been going on! First up it was Trav's 33rd b-day and I only have one sad pic of it,haha! Him and Luke w his cheesecake,anybody that knows Trav knows he's super healthy and doesn't eat cake,but every now and again,he loves a bite of cheesecake,so I picked up a delicious one from Babe's;))) We left the kiddos w my mom and flew to Vegas for a few days for his bday and to get away to the sun! It was such a nice long weekend,and we had a great time! We had my mom's bday on the 19th,and me and the twins had a plan to surprise her for her bday,my dad said he was gonna take her to lunch in Ashton for her day and we were in on it,we showed up as they were just sitting down and surprised her! The twins were so excited to surprise Grammie and get to spend time w her on her special day! And of course her favorite are red velvet cupcakes from Cocoabean:)))YUM! Anyone that knows my mother knows she was crying when she saw all of us their to surprise her:) We had Easter this year up at my parents in Island Park,we had nice sunny days but LOTS of snow! The twins had a blast coloring eggs,egg hunting,playing w their cousins,riding snow machines,and of course swimming at the clubhouse! Lots of fun and GREAT food!!! I haven't been to great about taking pictures lately,so I really need to start doing better! But enjoy the ones that I took!!!:)))

A trip to Arizona!!!

Me and the Twinners headed out to see my parents last week in Arizona and to get the heck out of this COLD weather!!! I was SO nervous about flying alone w the twins but figured some good sun was worth it!;) The twins did SO well,they LOVED the airports and LOVED the plane! They watched movies and just loved lookin out the window on the flight! We landed in Mesa to wonderful 80 degree weather!My parents are farther south towards Yuma right by Mexico,so the weather is always nice!Spent the week w them swimming,shopping,going to the new Chuck E Cheese they put in down there(the twins LOVED it),and of course eating some good food! It was so nice to see them we miss them and cant wait till they come back in a few weeks! IF they were staying longer we be tempted to go back again,ha! Trav and Macy got to enjoy a week of quiet here at home!;) They were so excited to see Trav waiting in the airport when we got back in to Idaho Falls:)))It was such a good trip,and was so good to see my mom and dad!!!We love you guys! :))))

Christmas was SO fun this year, the twinners finally were old enough to really get into it! They were completely obsessed w Santa,and driving around at night to see all the lights and decorations on all the houses! It was so fun so see it all through their eyes! We bought a little elf that came w a book this year,Called Christopher the Elf,he comes after Thanksgiving and pops up in different places all over the house every morning until Christmas Eve. Luke and Mia were so excited to see where Santa had decided to put him every morning to keep an eye on them to make sure they were being good:) It really worked for us most of the time,ha!Their missin him now though cause Santa had to take him back to the North Pole w him;) We had Christmas Eve here at home and Christmas morning here at our house to,then we packed up and headed to my mom and Dad's in Island Park for the weekend. My brother and his wife and kids came up from Montana to. Santa didn't miss Grandma's house,the twins were SO excited to see he had made it there to:) We had a great time,we snowmobiled quite a bit,and the twins LOVED it so much, they never wanted to get off of them! I told my dad they all need little snowmachines next year of their own!:) It was a blast! Things took a turn for the worse when Trav seperated his shoulder on Sun. and is now in a sling for 6 weeks,and may eventually need surgery but for now we're hopin it heals on it's own. Other than that a fabulous Christmas w family!!! Hope everyone else had a Merry Christmas and have a Happy New Year!!!! We're looking forward to a fabulous 2011!!!!!:)))

Wow! Cannot believe my little Twinners have turned 3!!! I guess the days of bottles,diapers and all things baby are gone,which I got to thinkin today makes me a LITTLE bit sad,(I said little),so not sad enough to have any more babies,ha! I'm lovin that they are getting older,they are getting so fun,and I LOVE to hear the little things they say and love to hear them laughing w each other when they play together,they are such best friends to each other,and I love it! They've changed SO much from the little 4lb. babies that spent their first 2 weeks of life in the NICU. They've had quite the 3rd B-day! Last Sat. they had a big birthday bash at Leo's,(they LOVE that place),we had a blast!One side was Toy Story themed the other Disney Princess themed,w seperate cakes of course:)I SO wish I could have made their fabulous cakes,but this amazing girl made them,they turned out SO perfect,I almost hated to cut into them! Of course the twinners were spoiled rotten! I looked around at the party and thought how truly blessed we are to have such fabulous friends and family!Today is there real B-day and all their friends sang Happy Birthday to them at gymnastics class,which they thought was pretty cool,then we had Birthday lunch at Pizza Hut,(that's what they picked)ha!:) Tomorrow we're headed to SLC to meet up w some friends and do the Discovery kids place at Gateway,(hopefully I can sneek in some shopping to);) and to think Christmas is in a couple days....WOW,they are really gonna think their B-day lasts a long time!;) Thanks to all who helped make their B-day so special,they are such happy,fun loving,sweet little kiddos that I love SOOO much!! they make me laugh everyday....(and somedays cry)ha!Happy Birthday Mia and Luke,we love you so much!!!!

We had a great Halloween this year,FINALLY the twins are really getting into the holidays,I love it, it makes things so much fun to see the holidays through your kid's eyes! It felt like a week a halloween festivities! And for me alot of work to dress them up every couple of days,and then to try and explain to Luke that he can't wear his Capt. Feathersword costume EVERY day now!;)ha! they had a Halloween party at Gymnastics one morning,I wouldnt let Mia wear her WHITE angel costume to gym,so we went and got her a Barbie dress,(yes I'm a crazy OCD mom who doesn't want their kids to get dirty or their costumes,I know I SO need to get over it);)maybe one day! Then we did our neighborhood/church trunk or treat one night and it was SO cold,the twins barely got out of the back of our SUV,we left it on w the heater running,I thought poor little Mia was gonna shake and shiver to death! But they loved seein the costumes,and every Woody Luke saw he wanted to have the costume,especially our neighbor Jace's!:) Thanks for loaning us a blanket Debi!!!:) Sat. we spent the day w some good friends and decided to do the Halloween Farmer's market,it was fun they had pumpkin bowling for the kids and a parade,and little Mia won the costume contest and LOVED her little trophy!(See my hard work of keepin her angel costume super clean paid off);) Then we had pizza,and then we decided to come back to trick or treat our neighborhood,it's the first year the twins actually got to go door to door,I thought they'd freak but they did pretty good,and we only did a few houses of people we knew so they weren't as nervous!:)My kids don't love candy which I guess they get from Travis,so we had a ton of candy leftover,they kind of like to unwrap it and that's about it:)Oh well,I guess it's a good thing. We also had a trick or treat visit from their cousins,they loved people comin to our door and knocking to. Also the weekend before me and Trav had a chance to get away to Jackson for the weekend for an early anniversary,my parents will be in Italy and all of Europe the whole month of Nov. so we went while we could:) It was a nice relaxing weekend and was much needed!:) Hope everyone had a Happy Halloween!!:)))

Fall Happenings!!:)

I realized it's been over a month since I blogged and that's been my goal this year to keep up on it,so here we go:) The twinners are 2 yrs. and 10months old today,wow! I just realized that as I sat down to write the post. We've almost made it to 3,ha! We're ALMOST potty trained,we still haven't mastered nighttimes,but oh well it'll happen when it happens,I'm not to worried that there gonna need pull ups when their 10,so I'm ok,ha!;) The twins started gymnastics class a couple weeks ago, it's been getting better,Mia loves it,and of course anyone who knows Luke knows he's SUPER shy,so for the first 15 min, he usually cries like he's being tortured and tells me he wants to go home,and then he chills out. I keep telling myself it's good for them and it'll get better,the other moms and the teachers tell me it'll get better to,ha! I don't know how he ended up so shy...hello,I know he doesn't get it from me,ha!ha!:) We also went to the pumpkin patch w some friends the other weekend,and had some fun picking pumpkins and riding the mini tractors,Luke also cried when we got there to,and then relaxed!;) Ahh,gotta love him!We also did the sand dunes one night,and the twins had a BLAST! It's great exercise there to! :) We're excited for the holidays comin up and the twinners turnin 3!!!:) And of course Halloween!:)Oh,the one pic is just us at Target and I think it's hilarious because Luke these days always wears hats,either a cowboy hat,pretending to be Woody from Toy Story,or his Capt. Another summer almost over......

I can't believe it's mid September and summer is already over,it feels like we never really had one!:( We managed to make it up to Montana the end of August to celebrate my little nephew Dax's 2nd birthday, the twins were so good on the drive up and slept ALL the way home, they have a blast playin w their cousins,and I always wish we lived closer! Little Dax is SUCH a good,easy little boy and we had a great time at the party:) We also headed up to my mom and dad's for Labor Day weekend, my brother and his family came to,so the twins got to play w their cousins quite a bit during those couple of weeks, we also took Trav's younger brother Josh w us,who was visiting us from California that same weekend...the twins LOVE Uncle Josh,he's SO good w them,so it was nice to have an extra helper w us:) We rode bikes,rode 4wheelers,went swimming,fed the fish,the boys golfed,and a million other things we could pack into the weekend!But like always we had a great time at Grammie and Grandpa's:) (the best thing is they have 2 houses,so the babies sleep in their room in the new house,and me and Trav get to sleep in the other house,like a mini vacation,ha!)Other than that we've had a great summer and the twinners are gettin SO big, I can't believe they'll be 3 in December!Our little Mia had a rough last week,when she fell backwards off her chair at dinner,and her bottom teeth went right through her chin, me and Travis were a crazy mess,Josh stayed home w Luke and we took Mia to the ER, she was SO good,and never even really cried, the Dr. gave her 3 teddy bears and a balloon and she was happy as could be:) Luckily they were able to glue it and she didn't need stitches, AND she was more than happy to get to pick out princess and Dora band-aids daily!ha!She's a trooper!And of course we managed to make it to the Fair in Blackfoot one afternoon w some friends, the twins had a blast at the petting zoo,and loved eatin some fair treats!(Of course while we were at the Fair Mia picked out a stroller and doll she just could not live w out,and of course Luke found the ONLY Wiggle item at the whole Fair,he managed to find a "Sam" Wiggle doll,that he has yet to let go of!)ha!ha!(he had it in the pic but it's positioned perfectly behind his little buddy Ethan!) How could I ALMOST forget to blog our trip to SLC to see The Wiggles!!! If anyone knows the Twinners they know they LOVE the Wiggles, Luke is SOOO obsessed it's probably not normal! I used to try and get him to like something else but then I just gave up,I figure at least it's good TV,they've learned songs,colors,counting etc. So I guess it could be worse!;) So when we heard they were coming to SLC and they hadn't been here in 4 years, I KNEW we were gonna be there front and center! (well by the time we got tickets we were like 6th row,but the seats were GREAT! Trav gracefully bowed out and let my mom come w us,ha!(thanks Trav);) We had a nice day in SLC although it was about 105 degrees I think they said, we played in the fountains at Gateway,I didn't bring suits for the twins cause I kind of forgot you could swim in the fountains, so they were just there in clothes and pullups,(cause that's all that I had on me at the time)Oh well they loved it! I thought Luke was literally gonna have a heart attack when the Wiggles came on stage,he just couldn't believe it was them in real life,ha! Mia loved it to,it was such a fun time, they still talk about it, so after spending about $500 on Wiggle memorabilia we came home and the Twinners slept the WHOLE way home, (in there Capt. Feathersword hats and swords!ha! It was such a fun day for them,thanks Grammie for the Wiggle treats and for comin on the Wiggle journey w us!!!:)P.S. the next day Luke woke up w his costume on watchin his new DVD,and doin all the dance moves,ha!Love it!

Well once again the last month has flown by! Seems like we've been busy, the twins are LOVIN the water,I'm so happy about that!:) We had a fun day at Heise w friends,and the twins loved going down the big tube slide w Trav and his brother. We spent a day in Island Park w my mom and dad,the twins are obsessed w Grammie and Grandpa's house, (I wonder why,duh)they are completely spoiled up there, they went on 4 wheeler rides and swimming and to the park,and eat ice cream all day,ha! Then we went into West and they picked out a whole bunch of treats they had to have:)We also took my mom for a visit to the Splash Park, my poor mom had to go down the little kids slide w Mia cause she wouldn't ride down alone,ahh,the things Grammies do!The twins LOVE the merry go round up there,but they'll only ride in the seat thing,they never want on the horses,I keep telling them they are missing out,but the horses freak them out still!;) We got a visit from my sister in law Ashley and the kids,we hit up Leo's (of course)and let the kids play here at the house,the twinners don't get to see their cousins nearly as much as they should,maybe one day they'll move back to Idaho!(wishful thinking)they love Montana:) Also the twins new obsession is to play in the hot tub, I turn the water down to about 98 degrees,and they swim and swim,they can stand in the middle so it's prefect Twinner size!We've also begun potty training,which is actually going better than I thought,I just don't want to rush them at all,so we've been kinda slowly going along w it,but in another couple of weeks, I believe I'll have changed my LAST diaper,(knock on wood)ha! Life will be so wonderful then! ;)The twinners are up at my parents today,and I'm realizing how quiet life would be w out them,and then I get sad and miss them like crazy!!!!Sorry, my pics are in no real order,they never are,and there's a bunch!Enjoy!;)

We've had a busy last couple of weeks,so I had to "blog"it:) We got an invite from our friends the Andrus's to go to a Chukar game,they had a box at the field so it was so nice, the kids couldn't escape anywhere and they had room to roam and they brought our food up to us,it was such a nice way to see the game, the twinners had a good time,thanks Mike and Jenny:) I also managed to get the kiddos up to Rigby Lake for the day we went w some friends,and after a little while the twins ACTUALLY creeped in to the water about knee deep,ha,they don't seem to be afraid of the water at least so that's good, and they LOVE their little lifejackets!(although they like to wear them outside to play,any neighbors that are reading this have probably seen them out front in the lifejackets,I gave up tryin to keep them away from them)oh well;) Then we had a busy 4th of July weekend, we saw the parade,had some barbques and watched fireworks,the twins loved the ones we did this year w some friends,and they loved "sparklers" and those dang "pop"it things you throw. We went after the 4th and bought a TON of them, cause Luke is obsessed!ha! Lots of pics,enjoy!:)

I've really been tryin to keep up on the blog,but lately I find myself throwin a picture on Facebook and callin it good, But I'm tryin, that's my goal to keep up on the blog:) In the last month we've been busy, we had a great trip from Trav's brother from California and his wife, they came and stayed for 4 days and the Twins LOVED them and had a blast! (I'm pretty sure after spending 4 days w the Twinners, they've decided against havin kids for awhile,ha!;) Then of course it was my big 3-2 Bday(wow that sounds SO old), and yes in case you're wondering I really DO celebrate it all month, so I'm currently still in B-day mode!;) (I think Trav's about over it though!;)) ha! We had some visits from my mom and dad which we ALL love...especially the Twinners! Then Trav had a nice Father's Day w a trip to the zoo and dinner out w us. He's a great dad and the Twins ADORE him, everyday they wait at the garage door for him to come home from work, I love it! I'm probably forgetting a ton of other things,but that's what happens when you only blog once every month or so! And in true Becky form my pics are in no special order,Enjoy!!:)

Ok, so first off, I'm really trying to be better this year at keeping my blog updated, so here it goes.:) I had a great Mother's Day, I wanted Trav to build the Twinners swingset for me, and him and his brother actually got it done in 1 day!!! It's perfect for the Twinners, it's made for smaller ages so they can actually enjoy it now, other than the fact we have to push them on the swings and glider,but they LOVE it!The funniest thing about the whole thing I think was today when I went out looking for Mia's blanket I decided to check in the little house at the bottom of the set and when I peeked my head in I noticed she had taken 2 family pictures off the table from the basement and put them in "her house", ha! what a little decorator!!!to funny!;) The twins also had a beautiful bouquet delivered to the house for me on Fri., and today they took me out to dinner, I am so lucky that I get to be a mom to 2 of the best kiddos around! :) I want to say Happy Mother's Day to all the Mother's out there, and to my mom who has truly been the BEST mom I could have ever asked for,I am SO lucky to have her in my life and for the Twinners to have her as their Grammie! I also posted some funny pics of one of each of the kids, Luke loves dressin up in headbands like Mia....(yes, Trav's a little nervous about that),and Mia LOVES dressin up in everything...to bad it's all at once, I need to do a better job on teaching her how to "accesorize"ha!Enjoy!!!:)

So it's been about 2 months since my last post.....I REALLY need to do better! Thanks Debi for tellin me I needed to get on it!;) I'm just gonna put a little of what we've been up to the last little bit and post some "catch up" pics,(probably in no real order)Oh well! :) We've been busy doin nothin really it seems like, me and Trav went to Maui for 8 days and my WONDERFUL mom watched the Twinners for us, we sure missed them,but it was SOOO nice to get away and they were in the best hands w my mom. We also had a nice Easter up at my mom and dad's, although we tried to go up Sat. before Easter and who would have thought we'd hit a blizzard in April trying to get up there....needless to say we turned around and went up on Easter day, I'm glad the Twinners were still to young to really know that they woke up Easter morning to nothing really,cause it was all up at my parents house. :) There's also been a TON of Birthdays for the family, BOTH my parents have turned the big 60! My dad did in Feb. and my mom next week, My LITTLE Brother will be 29 this week, (wow that makes me feel SO old),Trav turned 32 on the 2nd of April and my sis in law Ash turned 29 the end of March. I think that was everybody, so we've had some fun family parties also! Ok, I'm sure I'm missin some other fun stuff but for now, I think I'm caught up enough to feel good about my blog again!:) (Again,sorry for the pics, I'm so bad at getting them in any real order);)

Wow,just gettin a chance to sit and catch up on some "bloggin",I just realized it's been about a month and a half! Time is flyin....well not so much in this winter weather....;) ha! We've done some fun things since Christmas and I'll probably forget a lot of it,but I'll just post lots of pics and call it good!;) We went to a fun luau party in Jan. for our friends that have an amazing indoor pool,the twins are likin the water more and more,so I'm really looking forward to the summer and some swimming!!;) We've had some friends B-days at good ole Leos' and we just went up to Montana to celebrate Atlee's (kevin's daughter's) 3rd bday, so the twins had a blast playin w their cousins,and I made the trip w/out Trav because it was a weekday,and the Twinners actually did pretty good in the car all that way!(well as long as movies were playin,they were eatin snacks,and Luke had his "wiggle" piano,(anyone that knows Luke knows he's OBSESSED w those dang wiggle's!)ha!;) He even fell asleep on the way home still holding tight to that toy!;) SO CUTE! Hope everyone's surviving this long winter, I know we can't wait for summer!!!:)

So the Twinners had their 2 yr. Dr. appt. last week, so I thought I'd do a little "Twinner Update"!I CANNOT believe the difference in 2 years, I found the pic of them in the stockings the other day, and I couldn't believe how far they've come,from 2 little 4lb. babies, that could have easily fit into 1 mini stocking! The picture is Chrismtas Eve after they were born, the NICU nurses put them in the stockings for a picture! :) Now they are healthy, beautiful Twinners, that are into EVERYTHING, and talking up a storm! They are bestest little friends who love to be together! In fact I was getttng ready to seperate their rooms the other day, thinking maybe they'd like some of their own space....I was SO wrong, I could tell instantly that was not gonna happen, so who knows how long they will choose to sleep in a room together....I'm sure by the time they are in Highschool, those days will be a thing of the past! ha! ;) Our little Mia is still SO miniature...she weighed in at a whopping 22lbs...w/ a diaper on putting her in only the 3rd percentile for weight and 33in. tall, putting her up into the 25th percentile for height! Luke is doin a bit better weighing in at 26.2 lbs. in the 25th percentile and 34 1/2in. tall into the 50th percentile for height!Other than that, they are totally doing everything else 2 yr. olds do!! I can't believe me and Trav have two 2 year olds...here we go!! ;) They are a blast and we are lovin it......not enough to have any more babies,but still lovin the ones we have!!! ;) ha!

Wow,I'm surprising myself by getting this post done a DAY after the Twins party,My Aunt and Uncle in Hawaii can't get the pics I send them through Kodak, so I'm keepin on my toes, so they can see the pics!! :) (thanks guys!)Soooo, the Twinners had their big 2nd B-day bash yesterday at Craigo's, they SOOOO wanted a Dora and Diego party...so I gave up on what I wanted, (I need to get over the fact that they get to pick and I don't! ;))ha! And that's what they got! :) They had tons of family and friends come to their party, and we all had a great time...minus a few setbacks of course! ;) They were totally spoiled, they got a whole bunch of Dora and Diego, and Elmo's, and a playdoh kitchen and dolls and trucks,vacuums,coloring books,baby laptops, and my parents got them a new wood swingset, (which they won't even get to see till Spring,oh the joys of a winter B-day,sorry guys!) But next summer I'm hopin they LOVE it! Thanks SOOO much to everybody that helped make Mia and Luke's B-day SO wonderful!!! We are so blessed to have such wonderful friends and family! I can't believe they are 2! Time flies,(don't get me wrong though, there are days when it seems like forever!ha!;)) Happy Birthday to my bestest little buddies in the world,we love you guys so much!!!! :)P.S. Well what I thought would be a smooth picture takin day,ended up going completely wrong! Of course, doesn't it always work out that way when we try to plan "family pics"! And the fact that I thought two 22 month olds would pose and hold still...not happening! ;) I wanted outside pics and that day was FREEZING and SO windy, poor little Mia's teeth were chattering! Tyra did a great job w/ us though, I'm amazed she got as many good pics of us as she did! Thanks again Tyra! Mia wouldn't let go of Travis on the outside shots,so I couldn't even get a pic of them together, and they wouldn't really hold still for a family pic!Luke was doin a pretty good job at the outside pics suprisingly enough,I just wish they'd BOTH be good at the same time...never happens! ;)Oh well, we'll take what we can get! Tyra was nice enough to let us come to her house a couple days after the outside shots to get a few more of the Twinners. I already posted most of these on Facebook,but for the blog followers...enjoy!!!

"Trunk or Treat"!!!! 2009! :)

So we headed to our church/neighborhood Trunk or Treat this year for Halloween, which ended up being a perfect place for the Twinners this year, it was early and only an hour long! :) We weren't to sure how they were gonna take to Halloween this year.:) Luke had been battling a little cold for a few days, so I was hoping he felt better and would have fun, which he did pretty well, he seemed to love his mouse costume, (which made me happy, cause he wasn't trying to rip the head off all night), and I'm kinda a freak about costumes and staying neat! ;) He did better than Mia did all night, she basically walked for about 2 seconds and then clung to Travis for dear life the rest of the night! Luke actually took his trick or treat bag to the trunks and got candy and then he'd say "thank you,welcome", he thinks that all goes together, which is so dang cute! I don't think I heard much out of them the whole night, they seemed pretty mesmerized looking at all the kids dressed up! We made an attempt at a family pic (thanks Brooke) but of course the twins aren't looking, oh well, we try! Hope everyone had a very Happy Halloween!!! :)Can't wait till next year!! :)

Wow, so I guess it's been over 2 months since my last post...time flies! I finally sat down to post while the twins were napping today and the weather is SO cold! Just thought I'd post a little of what we'd been up to the last 2 months of summer, and throw some pics in to! I really plan on doing this more organized one day..but we'll see?:) Ha! The Twinners are now 21 months, I can't believe they'll be 2 at Christmas, they are the funniest little people I know! Little Mia is SUCH a girlie girl, LOVES shoes and clothes, (although I'm not liking that she's trying to pick her own shoes out,oh well I guess I need to relax a little, and say who cares if they don't match the outfit)easier said than done though.Luke is ALL boy, into everything and we always say Mia is gonna grow up SO tough, cause of Luke always trying to wrestle her and kinda pull her around. They are talkin up a storm (most if which I can't understand,but it seems like they understand each other), so it's all good! :) They are really funny to watch together, they'll hold hands and dance together and I about die of cuteness everytime! Love it! They love to ride their little bikes and have Trav pull them around in their wagon,and the riding lawnmower,and when the other kids in the neighborhood started school, they'll sit in the yard and watch the schoolbus, waiting for the kids to get dropped off.We've been to Island Park to see my parents a few times and up to Montana to my brother's house for my nephews 1st B-day party.Of course being from Blackfoot we hit up the State Fair, the twins loved the petting zoo! We've had some weddings and Trav's been a Best Man in one, and we've had some get togethers w/ friends and really just had a pretty laid back end of summer! We're sad to see the nice weather end...but excited for the Fall! :)P.S. Sorry the pics are just kind of in no order whatsoever! (that would take me WAY to long) Ha! :)

The Splash Park!...for the first time!

So last Fri. I took the twins...by myself,(well kinda), we went w/ my friend Nicole from up the street, and her 2 little girls, she has one about 6 weeks younger than the twins,Braelle, (one of Luke's many girlfriends,she's in one of the pics w/ him!)and a 3 month old, and her sister who was visiting from Wyoming. I thought the Rexburg Splash Park was so nice, I wish we had one here in Idaho Falls! I can't believe we don't! Anyways, I wasn't sure about how the twins would react, especially Mia, who always waits for Luke to do something before she does...I guess this actually makes her a really smart girl! Ha! But the tiny waterfalls were perfect for them! After awhile they actually seemed to really like it! They loved to watch all the other kids to. And the great thing was they actually stuck pretty close to me, so it wasn't hard to watch both at once! :) I'm looking forward to the next time we go!! :)

Well we had a pretty nice,low key 4th of July! My mom had been staying w/ us for the week, so we were sad that my dad wanted her back on the morning of the 4th! :( We went to our friend Chris's for a barbque, the twins were a little shy till they got to the backyard and saw the trampoline and the swingset and the playhouse, then they were in heaven! My camera died during the barbque,but luckily my great friend Cami saved the day w/ her awesome camera, so I'm using the pics she took instead of the ones I took!! :) After the barbque we just went home, we were both worn out from chasing the twins all day!:) Of course we didn't make it to the fireworks because I am the strict bedtime mom.....7:30!!!! Ha! :) Maybe next year I'll bend the rules and we'll watch the fireworks! Hope everyone had a Happy 4th of July!!! :)

A Twinner update at 18 months!!

Ok, so it's been a month or so since I've done any blogging! Wow, the summer is going by fast, so I thought I do a litttle update! We've just been hanging out this summer so far, the twins LOVE playing outside in their backyard and in their pool, I sometimes just let them play out there in the pool naked, naked babies are SOOO cute!! ;) and really w/ 2 it's just easier that way, then when they are done I can dress them and put them down for a nap! ;) A couple weekends ago they had a B-day party for their cousin at Leo's, which they had a great time and they loved riding those little 25 cent cars and toys that move. On this past Mon. (the 21st) they were 18 months, so we had their Dr. appt. that day also. I had to post the pics even though it was sad, I thought it was funny also, (no, I'm not a mean mom) But they were all happy in the waiting room and then the minute they got into the exam room, they were screaming!! The worst part about this was that I was alone w/ them!!!! My mom was in Chicago, and Trav had meetings he couldn't get out of, so it was just me, w 2 screaming 18 month olds, they were by far the loudest kids in the office!! And they didn't stop screaming till they were dressed and we were out the door! But little Mia weighed in at a whopping 19.6lbs. and was 30 3/4 in. tall, and Luke weighed in at 22.8lbs. and was 32 1/4 in. tall, they are both on the small side, 15 percentile and 25th percentile I believe. Hopefully one of these days they'll catch up!! They are getting so big, they are regular little kids these days, they love to play w/ each other. Luke is by far the leader, whatever trouble he's into you can bet Mia's right behind him, ( I think she just likes him to test everything out first) ,she plays it smart and safe!! That's about it for us, I hope everybody's having a great summer!! :)

Memorial Day weekend!!

Well I've been trying to keep up on the blog, so here goes! :) We went up to my parents cabin in Island park over Memorial Day, it was so nice to get away for a bit, the twins slept the whole ride up so that was nice! They had a blast, they went up to Big Springs and fed the fish,although Luke was trying to jump in w/ the fish so I was a bit nervous around all that water! Also my parents are building a big new house across the street from the other one that is all "grandkid friendly", anyone that knows my mom knows she's all about the grandkids...(you'd think she had like 50,and she only has 4!) Lol! So the twins went over there to look around and check things out.They got to finish off the day w/ a bath in Grammies HUGE tub, which they loved also! One of the other days that we were in town they played in the playground w/ their cousins Atlee and Dax (although none of those pics turned out) it's so hard to get good pics these days, which I say all the time!

As far as a "Twinner update" they are 17 1/2 months old, and we have conquered the biggest challenge that I have yet to face, 3 days ago they said goodbye to their bottles!!! I threw them away,w/ the help of my mom! ;) The picture in the carseats was on Sat. and they had their last one on Tues.!They are doing great w/ out them, I think it was harder for me than them,but my goal was by their 18 month appt. to not have them at all anymore...so we've made it!! They are such big kids now!! (A little cranky these last few days,but we're getting better)! :)

Mother's Day Weekend and a Twinner update! :)

Well I've been meaning to do a "Twinner" update for awhile now, and then it was Mother's Day so I guess I'll just combine it all! Mother's Day was great we took the twins to the zoo and park, they had a great time, although they seemed to be more interested in all the people and kids than any of the animals, although when they saw the big Yak, they both started to "moo" because I guess to them it looked like the cows we have in our back yard, (which I think it looked like a cow to, so I don't blame them!) ;) We thought maybe we should let them out of their stroller for a bit, but then they were running crazy all over the zoo, so that didn't last long! It was a wonderful Mother's Day and I'm so thankful to have Trav and the twins, I feel so lucky to be their mom and I always hope I'm doing a good enough job! Thanks for the wonderful Mother's Day guys!

I posted some other pics of some funny stuff the twins are up to these days also! It's so funny to watch them push each other around on their little cars, they laugh at each other so hard! I love it! Luke is my daredevil and into EVERYTHING, I came into the living room the other day and there he was on my table throwing all the decorative balls and candles off and down to Mia! He pulls the pillows off the couch and stacks them by the table and climbs right up! Also I'd have to say the thing that keeps me and Trav in absolute laughter is how much they LOVE to dance! Whenever their is music of any kind they both start dancing, the picture is of them dancing to the Ellen show...they LOVE her! When her show comes on they run up to the TV and are going crazy and staring and pointing and dancing, it's hilarious! They are getting funner and funner by the day! Everyday is something new,Luke now points at me when he knows he's doing something wrong and then goes "no,no,no", it's so cute, I forget what the heck I was "no-ing" him about in the first place! Ok, well this is turning into a long post! :)

Let me first start this off by saying, there's ALOT of pics and they are really not in any order, I was trying to do it as fast as I could! Sorry! And some of the pics are really just as good as I could get at the time, I cannot get 2, 15 month olds to do anything at the same time let alone pose for pics! Oh well! We had a great Easter and Easter weekend! On Sat. I took Luke to his friend Jaxon's 5th B-day at Leo's, he had a great time, he loved his goodie bag, it had candy necklaces and bubble's, he was in heaven!!! He even came home and shared w/ Mia, who stayed home w/ Trav! Trav has still been battling the flu off and on since Mexico, so he had Easter morning w/ us and then me and the twins drove up to Island Park to have Easter w/ my parents and my brother Kevin and his wife Ashley and my niece and nephew Atlee and Dax. We also celebrated my brother's 28th B-day,(wow I can't belive he's 28!) and my mom's 59th B-day,which is this Sun. The twins had a blast getting into their Easter baskets and presents! We got them a little sink w/ a real running faucet, (which is DEFINITELY an outside toy!) and they got a Little Tykes picnic table,which Luke just likes to stand on top of for now! Oh well, whatever keeps them entertained! They loved the Easter eggs and toys up at my mom's and playing w/ their cousins! Although Kevin's dog Trigger was up there and for some reason this time Luke was so terrified of him! It was so sad, and Trigger is the sweetest old lab,but Luke wanted nothing to do w/ him and he's been around him before, so go figure, I guess it's just another "phase" they go through! :) We missed having Trav up w/ us,but we brought him his Easter basket and some leftovers when we got home! All in all it was a nice laid back Easter, and I just kept thinking back to last Easter when the twins were still these little preemie twins, they were only about 10 weeks last Easter, and this year they were running and playing everywhere, it's amazing the difference a year makes! They are the funnest little people these days and we are so thankful! Hope everyone had a very Happy Easter!! Love, Us :)

So yesterday was Travis's Big 31! Wow,we're gettin old! We had a pretty low key day, of course the weather has been awful, but we did venture out to Babe's to get the big cheesecake that I ordered for his Birthday, which we've both been kind of sick so it didn't really get eaten last night! We did put candles in it and Trav let the twins watch and try to blow them out! They were so amazed! So just wanted to post of few pics of my hubby and tell him on his special day what a wonderful, fantastic husband and dad he is and how much we appreciate all he does for us! A Twinner update...15 months old!!!!

Well the twins had their 15 month Dr. appt. on Wed. so I thought I'd post some updates on them! :) Little Mia weighed in at 19 1/2lbs. and 29 3/4 in. long, putting her in the 25% for height and the 5% for weight,( I guess she's gonna be skinny,so she must get that from her dad's side)! ;) Luke weighed in at 22 1/2lbs. and 31in. long,putting him in the 50% for height and the 25% for weight, so they are still small for their age,but doing great! They are getting a ton of teeth lately,even molars, so they've been a little grouchy lately to say the least! They are running everywhere and into everything! We had some great weather a little while ago so they LOVED playing outside and on their toys and loved when Trav took them for a ride in their wagon! They are getting to be the funniest little people I know, I laugh at them everyday over something funny that they do! Mia is sure learning to be tough due to Luke tackling her and playing rough w/ her all the time! They are my bestest little buddies in the world!! I am so lucky to have them both! :)

So as a mom I have to brag a little! I'm sure not to many out there suscribe to Twins Magazine, but of course when I new I was having twins I suscribed to anything I could possibly suscribe to that would maybe help! ;) Well they always ask anyone to send in non-professional pics of twins and maybe they will end up in the magazine sometime, so last year I sent in a pic of the twins, at the time they were about 7 months old I think. Anyways I never heard anything since, and the magazine only comes out like every 3 months I think. Well about 2 weeks ago I got an e-mail saying that Mia and Luke were in the current issue of the magazine!! Of course I had to order like 5 extra copies for family and to save for them one day! :) So if anyone does get the magazine they are on page 41, it's not a huge pic,but it was still pretty cute to see them in there! They were SO bald is all I thought! ;) (not that they have much hair now)! So Congrats Mia and Luke on your first magazine picture!!! Love you both! :)

Our trip to Zihuatenejo,Mexico!

So me and Trav were able to go to Mexico last week for about 9 days, for an insurance trip. We were having a great time the first few days, there was another couple from here in Idaho Falls that we knew that went to, so that made it even better! Our resort was wonderful, each suite had it's own infinity pool, so you really never needed to leave your room!...well that ended up being a great thing for Travis! We jetskiied in the ocean, went on a snorkel trip and just relaxed! Until about day 3, then Trav (it was his first time in Mexico to) :( got SOOOO sick! We actually all got a little sick, but poor Travis was on his death bed! The resort sent a Dr. and we actually both got a shot of antibiotics, I felt much better, but not Trav! We got home yesterday and he's headed to the Dr. again today and he vows to NEVER return to Mexico again! Ha! We'll see, but as of right now I'll believe him, we're gonna be sticking to Maui forever!!! :) It was still nice to getaway, but it also REALLY makes you appreciate what you have! We also REALLY missed the twinners! Thanks to my mom and dad for being such great grandparents and watching them the whole time! The twins acted like they didn't even know who we were when we came through the door....sad! But when I gave them their Mexican toys I brought home for them all was forgiven! :)

A trip to Montana for Atlee and my dad's Birthday's on V-day!

So I figured I needed to do a new post, and since we had some B-days this last weekend I figured that was a great place to start! We headed to the big town of Dillon,Montana, where my brother and Ashley live, for Atlee's 2nd B-day, and it was also my Dad's so we celebrated his to. Atlee had a little party at Pizza Hut and then back to their house for some cousin bonding! The cousins don't get to see each other that much, and I think I've only got to see my newest little nephew Dax about 4 or 5 times and he's almost 6 months! So it's fun whenever we can get together. The twins now try and keep up w/ Altee and Luke stands his ground and fights back, they play chase and steal toys and all that good stuff! :) Atlee loves to help me w/ them and try to pick them up, which they aren't to sure about it, but they were troopers! I tried to get a few pics, but none of them hold still so it was tough! Oh well! The twins had a blast and fell asleep in the car by the time we were pulling out of Kevin's driveway! All in all a great trip, thanks for having us Kev and Ash and Happy Birthday dad and Atlee!!! We love you!! xoxox

A Twin Update!!

So I'm kinda sick of pulling up my blog and seeing Christmas still, so I thought I'd do a little update on the twins, after all they will be 13 months tomorrow, so I figure that's as good a reason as any right?! :) They are changing so much so fast! So I thought I'd post some pics, which mostly look like all Luke does is torment little Mia! He pulls her bows out, tries to wrestle her all the time, which of course he thinks is SO funny, but she for some reason does not! Hmm. They are both walking now, so I do believe I'm in real trouble! They are into everything!!! It's amazing all the changes you have to make to your once nicely decorated house,because everything w/in reach is now touched and dropped and played with!! Luke has his 2 top teeth and 4 bottom, and Mia has 2 top that just popped through and her 2 bottom, they've actually been pretty good through the teething process...so far,knock on wood!! They love to say "dad", they say it way more than "mama" which makes me a bit sad! Oh well! Luke waves "bye-bye" and points at stuff. They drop bottles and sippy cups because they think it's funny to watch me pick it up just so they can drop it again...and again!! Drives me nuts!! They are great little sleepers (which has not always been the case, they didn't both sleep through the night till about 7 months!!, oh those sleep deprived nights!!) I will never forget them! Now they sleep from about 7:30pm-7:30/8am, so really can't complain! :) It's great! Well just wanted to update a little about my best little buddies! It's so fun watching them learn and grow and change everyday!! :)

Well it really felt like this was the twins first Christmas, because last Christmas, they were in the hospital still, I came home on x-mas eve and they stayed another week or so. So we were gonna do up Chrismtas right! We were headed to my mom and dad's in Island Park, to see them and for the first time in a long time, spend sometime w/ my brother Kevin, his wife Ashley and their two kids Atlee and Dax. Anyone that knows my mom knows she was going all out, so excited to have all her grandkids together for the first time! Well x-mas eve morning I woke up to another nosebleed, (most of you know I had sinus surgery in Nov. and it has been an ongoing problem) so far I wished I had never done it! :( I was in the hospital the weekend before the twins party and thought when I got out I was in the clear, but I wasn't. So Trav woke up to find me in the sink w/ buckets, he called the neighbors to watch the twins and we headed to Mt. View again, but this time for more surgery! So needless to say my mom came down to watch the twins, and I got to go home late in the afternoon. So we had a little Chritmas morning at our house w/ my mom, before she headed back up to IP. Thanks so much AGAIN mom for making the drive to help us! We really couldn't do anything w/ out you! :) So we managed to take a few pics and presents, the rest is still waiting for us at my mom and dad's. I'm still not feeling well, so Trav's had to pretty much watch the twinners, I'm just glad they really are to little to know what was going on! :) And I'm really gonna have to make it up to them next year!!

Also last Mon. they had their 1 yr. Dr. appt., I can't believe it! Just a little update, little Mia weighed in at 17lbs. (she's so tiny) and 28 in. tall and Luke was 20 1/2 lbs. and 29 in. tall. Luke took a couple steps on his birthday! They are both walking from furniture to furniture and babbling words that I think are "mama" and "dada" and they kinda wave bye-bye! And they are on milk, so no more formula! (oh it's the little things these days that make us moms happy right)! :) I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and we wish all of you a Happy New Year! :)

Well Mia and Luke had a big 1st B-day Bash at Leo's PLace! They've actually had a weekend long B-day, I guess they are like little Rockstars! :) I can't believe they are 1! I looked back at pics this weekend of them this time last year and they were so tiny, they both fit in a Christmas stocking in the NICU. They have sure come along way! They say "mama" and "dada" and Luke waves "bye bye"! They are both standing and thinkin of takin those first steps! They love to wrestle w/ each other and are starting to really enjoy playing w/ each other. Me and Trav are sure lookin forward to no more "formula bottles", and lovin making just "milk bottles"...oh the little things that make us happy these days! :) Thanks to everyone who helped celebrate Mia and Luke's B-day, they had a blast.....well Mia more than Luke, he's not as social in crowds! ;) But it was so nice to see so many friends and family, thanks again! Happy Birthday Mia & Luke, here's to many, many more!!!!

Well first off I can't believe we've survived almost 1 year w/ twins! At times it's gone by fast and other times it has seemed like forever,and I'd have to remind myself that "this to shall pass",which for some reason seems to always help! :) The twins are getting so big,with personalities to match! They have filled our lives and we are so thankful for them! Sometimes I really need to remind myself of how lucky we have been!

On another note, it's me and Travis's 2nd Anniversary, Wow, we have sure accomplished alot together in 2 years, namely the Twinners! ;) We were supposed to be at the wonderful Four Seasons Resort in Jackson Hole for the weekend, relaxing and snowboarding, (which there's not much snow, so that's one good thing about not being there) but as some may know I had to have sinus surgery, (yeah nice I know) but I was having so much trouble breathing, so I had to finally have it done. Needless to say my Dr. did not like the idea of snowboarding, I'm supposed to not do anything much for a month, and on top of that I've felt horrible! So we've postponed the trip for a few weeks. Sorry Trav! :) So Happy Anniversary Trav! Thanks for always putting up w/ me, (I'm sure that's difficult at times!) :) And for being such a great husband and dad! You're the best and we appreciate everything you do for us, everyday! Here's to many,many more years! (but no more kids! Ha!) ;) Love you!

The Twins 1st Halloween! Boo at the Zoo!

The twins had their 1st Halloween this year! Luke was a bumblebee (which he hated), and Mia was a ladybug (which she loved!) Go figure! :) We went w/ some neighbor friends of ours, the Andrus's and the Infanger's to the Boo at the Zoo! We weren't sure what we were in for,but we had a great time, except for Luke who was way to tired by the time we got there! But they did seem to enjoy all the lights and watching all the kids run around! All in all it was a great 1st Halloween, we can't wait for next year when they'll actually be able to run around and understand a bit more! :)

A visit from Kevin, Ashley and Atlee!!

My little brother Kevin and his wife Ash and my little niece Atlee came for a visit on Fri. night! Little Dax whose 2 months old was with Ashley's mom in Blackfoot. It's always so nice to get a chance to see them and Atlee she's getting so big and to see her w/ the twins is getting pretty funny! They live in Montana and we don't see them to often, so it was a nice little visit! Atlee loves to give the twins kisses and she says "I Love you" to them! And finally the twins can fight back a bit! :) They are learning to hold their own! 2 years ago my parents had no grandchildren and now they have 4! We love that they are all so close together! Thanks guys for the visit!

Our Maui Trip!!

So me and Trav just returned from 8 days in Maui!! We had a great time doing NOTHING!! We rented a condo w/ an ocean view and just sunbathed, snorkeled and ATE!! ALot! Not good, but oh well! ;) We missed the twins soooo much, it seems like they grew a ton while we were gone! When we walked through the door, it was like they didn't know who we were...sad! :( I also wanted to thank my mom! She's the best mom and grandma ever, we wouldn't have felt comfortable enough to leave them w/ anyone else yet! So we were able to go and know they were in great hands!! :) And she had a blast w/ them! So now we're back in cold Idaho,already looking forward to going back again next year. My Aunt and Uncle also live there, so we were able to see them and have some of my Uncle Pat's GREAT cooking! So thanks guys to you both!

Well the twins are 9 1/2 months now and I thought I'd do an update! We had family pics done a couple months ago so I thought I'd put some up to! The twins are crawling and into everything lately,Luke has started to pull himself up and stand...so cute! But I think that everything they do is cute! ;) They are eating everything and love to feed themselves, which I'm kind of a neat freak so the mess drives me a bit crazy! Oh well, I'm sure it's gonna get even messier!! :) Me and Trav were in Hawaii for 8 days and they seem to have grown sooo much while we were gone!! They also each have their 2 bottom teeth! They are becoming such funny little people, and I love to watch them play together,it's the sweetest thing!!

The Twins 9 month appt.!!

Today was the twinners big 9 month appt.! Me and Trav can't believe we've survived 9 months! It was so wierd to make their 1 year appt.! They are doing great, they are pretty much doing what all other 9 month olds are doing, (I always get worried cause they were preemies)! Mia is just VERY tiny! But I'm glad she's the tiny one and not the other way around! :) Luke was 18lbs. 11 oz. and 28 1/2 in. long, which is the 25th and 50th percentile, and Mia weighed in at a small 15lbs. 1 oz. and was 27 in. long which is the 5th for weight and the 30th for height! All things considered they are doing great having been only born at 4lbs.!! We want to thank Grammy for coming w/ us to! (It's just getting harder and harder to carry 2 at a time)! :) And after every appt. she always takes us to Babe's!! Yum! :)

Happy Grandparent's Day!! (A day late!)

We just wanted to wish the 2 best Grandparents in the world, a Happy Grandparent's Day! My parent's LIVE to be Grandparents and we're so grateful for all you do!! The twins are so lucky to have them! We had a rough week last week and my mom helped save me yesterday!! On Thurs. Mia was diagnosed w/ another set of ear infections so needless to say she's been pretty cranky lately! Then on Fri. I noticed Luke getting upset to!! (Anybody at the Blackfoot Fair would agree to this!! :) By Sat. he had a temp. but we chalked it up to teething! Sat. night at about 2 a.m. he was crying and I went to check on him, he was on fire! I took his temp. and it was 103 degrees and he was throwing up on me, (maybe a little to graphic, sorry!) So we went to the ER, where we stayed for the night! He has an ear infection and a viral infection, he had to get a shot and other things! He was such a little trooper! When I called my mom on Sun. at about 7 a.m. she headed straight down in her pj's to hold Luke ALL day for me! That's the wonderful thing about twins, there's 2 babies!! So when they are both sick, it's SO hard! So thanks mom! I don't know what we'd do w/ out you!! Happy Grandparent's Day to all the Grandparent's!
